TOMORROW:  

Tony Gulbrandsen will preach on Sinners reconciled to God (Colossians 1:21-23) while Pastor Mark is out of town.

EVENTS:

• Sunday, September 24: Important church business meeting to approve deacons, ministry team members and a pastor search committee right after the worship service.Roger Edwards, Prayer Team leader, encourages all to pray for the meeting, as important decisions are made. 

• Sunday, September 24: Women’s Sunday School class begins a new Bible study, 1 PETER (A Living Hope in Christ) by Jen Wilkin. You’re welcome to join the class at 9:00AM.

• Sunday, October 1: Joint worship service with Primera Iglesia Bautista and Sioux City Korean Church. afterwards in the gym please bring a hot dish, salad, or dessert to share.

• Monday, October 2: Good News Club starts at Morningside Elementary, 2:30-3:45 p.m.

• Saturday, October 7: 2pm, meet at the church to carpool to Holly View Acres, Holly Springs. Family fun with a corn maze, pumpkin patch, corn hole, corn kernel beach, & more. There is an admission fee. Check it out at: hollyviewacres.com.

• Sunday, October 15: Fall Family Festival, noon to 2pm. Outreach event so please invite family & friends. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, & ice cream will be served. Family fun activities: glow room, bounce house, corn hole, “hover ball” bowling, cookie walk.This is our !

PRAYER CONCERN UPDATES:

Continued prayer needed for Georgia, Al Thompson, Steve Haskins, Barb Kjorness, Carolyn Knudson, and Dave Oatman.

UPDATED: Please pray for Isaac, Marian & Noah Zellmer who are all sick now and they have 10 days left singing at the 21 Days of Prayer in the Omaha area.

NEW: Please pray for Missy, a friend of mine.  She needs healing, protection from a recent boyfriend, and to feel she has self-worth after being beaten down.  I’ve told her she has value/love from her friends, family, and most of all God.  She thinks she needs brain surgery to have gotten involved with this guy again, but I told her God will do heart surgery to help her now.
