SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 25:  

Pastor Mark will preach on the lessons Jesus shared as He was heading to the cross soon, preceded with Casie Widman's baptism. 

EVENTS:

Food Pantry: We have many people coming to the church weekly on Thursdays who are in need. If you would like to help with this outreach of the church, please mark your envelope or online donation as Food Pantry.  Thank you to Linda Dillman, Jackie Edwards, Rangdi Jorgensen & Valerie Hair who help with this important outreach ministry. 

Children’s Church starts after the offertory each Sunday, meeting in the classroom across from the nursery. The nursery will also open.

Kids Club:  Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45 pm. It’s for kids’ kindergarten through 5th grade. They meet in the gym at 6:30 pm. The theme this spring is The Life of Jesus. Every week kids learn one main truth about God and a Bible memory verse. They sing songs and play games. 

SHBC Youth Group: They meet every Wednesday, 6:30-7:45 p.m.

Adult Devotional and Prayer every Wednesday, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Small Group Prayer: Gathering every Friday at noon in Theo’s Room.  Bring your own lunch if you want, it’s a great time of sharing.  Only one hour intended of your time. 

Invite your friends for every Monday and Adult Co-Ed Recreational Volleyball: 6:30-8pm in the church gym, playing for 6 weeks, until March 11. Questions? Contact Matt Widman, 712-253-3423. Please wear white soled shoes.

Friday, March 29: Good Friday service & Lord’s Supper at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday, March 31: 9:00 a.m. Pancake Breakfast in the gym. Invite your friends and family, with worship following at 10:15 a.m., celebrating Jesus Christ’s glorious resurrection.

 

PRAYER CONCERN UPDATES & REMINDERS:  Recent updates are underlined.

Dave Oatman’s surgery went very well and hopefully home now.

Michael Gallagher left today on a missions trip to Liberia with a team of 4 and they will be there for a week.  Please pray for fruitfulness with this outreach. 

Joy Dage is still dealing with foot pain. 

Brad Armstrong continues to deal with vertigo issues. 

Continued prayer needed for Betty Oatman, Steve & Shirley Haskins, Barb Kjorness, Carolyn Knudson, Avis Elliott, Marv Schubert, Marian Gallagher, Duane & Doree Conkey.

 

The Pastor Search Committee continues to report ENCOURAGING NEWS that God is on the move!  The committee is following up with 2 candidates.  PRAISE GOD and keep praying!
