SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9th: 9:00 a.m. Sunday School for All Ages, 10:15 a.m. Worship Service. Pastor Atreju Hood will preach on The Source of Wisdom, 1st Corinthians 2:6-10. Nursery available for ages 4 and younger.
Please bring plastic grocery bags for the Food Pantry.
Pick up a box by the Welcome Desk for OCC/Operation Christmas Child. ​

EVENTS:
Monday, November 10th – Final Pickleball for this fall for all ages in the gym, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 19th – Packing Party at 6:30 p.m. for Operation Christmas Child in the Worship Center.
Saturday, November 22nd – Christmas decorating, time TBD.
Wednesday, November 26th – No Wednesday night services.
Bible study and prayer time, 6:30 p.m., every Wednesday in the foyer.
Awana for Kids (3 years old - 6th grade) and Youth Group (6th-12th grade) 6:30-7:45 p.m. every Wednesday. INVITE THE KIDS and YOUTH YOU KNOW!
Food Pantry: Every Thursday at 10 a.m.
Life Group Prayer: Every Friday at noon in the big classroom at the end of the hallway. Bring your own lunch if you want, it’s a great time of sharing. Only one hour intended of your time.
Life Group Bible Study: Every other Sunday after Worship Service, studying Acts: The Spirit Empowers.

Pray for Laurie Vanderlinden’s co-worker Ryan who will be going to Mayo next week for surgery to see if prostate cancer has spread to his bones. Valerie Walker’s brother Terry, Betsy Wright, Dennis Gallagher’s sister Darlene has a tumor close to her pituitary gland, 9 members of our youth group will be attending the Crowder/Zach Williams concert at the Tyson Center tonight!

Continued prayer needed for another van driver on Sundays, Brad Armstrong/rehabilitation, Sandy Calhoun, Joy Dage/chronic foot pain, Elladee Ronhovde, 11 years old will have 2 more chemo treatments and get to go home for a month, Drake Swanson/recovery/needing new friends, and Leesa Wynn to feel better daily.

REAL LIFE STUFF
Maybe some of you read the mini-testimony about my personal needs of ‘reheating’ in the music section of the SHBC Updates last Friday. I know one visitor did because he replied that he reheats every day. Praise God!
So, this is a call for you to share your ‘real life stuff’. Sharing things you struggle with, a devotional that hit your heart, a weird off the wall thought about washing away sins when you’re cleaning a bathtub or spaghetti sauce off plates, a song that hit home with you, etc. And I encourage you to send a song or 2 as well, but not required.

This is an opportunity to encourage each other within our church body. Send your story to me (400 words or less) and music you like and I’ll post it on one of our weekly emails. You can share your name or tell me you want to remain anonymous. It doesn’t have to be this week, send anytime you are led. I look forward to hearing from you to build up our church body and relationships with each other.
